This initial analysis helps us in calculating the amount of hard work that will be required in the future times to pull up your site.
Competitor analysis: The level of competition your site faces is calculated through this step. We analyse your competitors on the following metrics –
- total number of pages included in google index
- total number of pages included in yahoo index
- total number of backlinks available in google
- total number of backlinks available in yahoo and
- google page ranking
Finding out the competition that you are going to face enables us to know the factors which have helped your competitors to be ahead of you. A competitive analysis report will be sent outlining suggestions on what needs to be done to get ahead of your competitors.
Keyword research: Your site is analyzed by our professionals for the best possible keywords. These keywords would be the most suitable for your site while also for the people coming to google searching for some specific key terms. Keywords are not taken by any adhoc means but there are some specific research methods that are followed to pick up the search terms used by the people.
Content optimization/development:“Content is the king” and without it you can’t describe your site to the visitors. A website looks attractive due to the high quality contents. Its content is one of the vital reasons why the visitors will stay on your site and not jump to any other or vice versa. Understandable catchy contents hold the visitors and don’t let them walk away from your site.
We will have a look at the content to determine if any fine-tuning is needed on the existing content with regards to keywords placement and frequency. If needed, extra pages will be created to target keywords as targetting too many words on a single page will dilute the importance of keywords.
Optimization of the site: It includes the following –
- Title tag - A captivating title tag is created so that the search spiders are able to give required importance to your web page. Title is selected according to the content in the page.
- Meta description tag – The Meta description tag is a summary of the page and its contents. It should be used for marketing purposes and enticing people to click on your link. Your meta description can make the difference for someone clicking on your link or choosing your competitor.
- Meta keywords tag – This tag should include important keywords and phrases consistent with the body text, title, and content of the page. Do not put extra load here but use only the keywords that are there in the page.
- Text navigation – Ideally, the site should have text links so that spiders are able to crawl the entire site easily. Avoid links in javascript and image links.
- Page URL – Having a relevant search engine friendly URL can go a long way in terms of on-page optimization. Having relevant keywords in the URLs doesn’t hurt.
- ALT attribute on images – Alt attribute like meta tags, aren’t seen and used by visitors, but for the search engine spiders. Alt attribute is placed inside image tags such that the spider can recognize the keywords there.
- Anchor text – As a part of successful on-page optimization, get into the habit of using keyword rich anchor text to interlink different site pages.
